HowTo: Rip Blu-Ray movies using AnyDVD HD and RipBot264

Step 1

Start AnyDVD HD, wait for it to scan the disc, then start Ripbot264.
It should show you a window like the following:

Click ADD

Step 2

Browse to the BDMV\STREAM folder of your blu-ray disc and double click ANY of the .m2ts files in that folder, as shown below:

Step 3

Wait for RipBot to analyze the disc, as show here:

Step 4

Select the best possible Audio, then click Ok as shown below:

Step 5

Wait for it to demux this content you requested.  Demux means it’s taking just the video and audio stream you selected out of the source files, rather than taking all of them.  After this is complete, you can remove the blu-ray disc from your computer.

Step 6

Select AVCHD at the bottom, THEN select 2-pass, 8192 kbps for video on the left side, and 5.1 Aften AC3 640 kbps on the right side.

OPTIONAL: If your video has subtitles, click the Properties, shown in orange below:

Optional Step 1 (only necessary if you want to retain subtitles)

Select “Build in picture”

Optional Step 2 (only necessary if you want to retain subtitles)

Select the correct subtitle track, it will usually have FORCED in the name if it’s normally displayed during the movie (for instance when then movie is in english but a character is speaking a foreign language).
If the entire movie is in a foreign language and you just want the english subtitles, select them as shown below:

Step 7

Take one last look at your settings, then click Done.

Step 8

Repeat steps 1 through 7 for all of the blu-rays you want to rip and click Start
